ALS, one page both sides, 4.5 x 7, Westland letterhead, February 3, 1899. Letter to George Boutwell, the president of the Anti-Imperialst League. In part; “I received a letter…from Hon. Winston Warren which I answered promptly informing him that I felt constrained to decline the invitation he transmitted.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Cleveland’s hand.
